Suzuki GSX-R 1000 (2005-2008) or GSX-S 1000 (2016-2019) owners, if you're having charging system issues or need to replace your flywheel, this is a direct-fit aftermarket rotor.
It's a brand new part designed to replace the original Suzuki flywheel/magneto (OEM part numbers 31402-41G00 and 31402-41G10).
This is the part that mounts on the end of your crankshaft and spins past the stator to generate electricity for your bike's battery and ignition.
It's a plug-and-play installation – just bolt it on in place of your old one.
The unit is built with high-grade lamination and copper windings that can resist temperatures up to 200°C.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a critical timing component.
After installation, you MUST check and adjust the air gap between the raised node on this flywheel and your bike's pickup/pulser coil.
The gap should be as close as possible but no less than 0.010 inches.
An incorrect gap will cause ignition and running problems.
