Working on an IoT, wearable, or portable electronics project that needs fast, non-volatile memory?

This breakout board for the MB85RC256V FRAM (Ferroelectric RAM) chip is super handy.

FRAM is awesome because it's non-volatile (keeps data without power) but reads and writes almost as fast as normal RAM, and it can handle a huge number of write cycles—way more than Flash memory.
This board breaks out the chip to easy-to-use pins, including the I2C interface (default address 0x50, but you can change it with jumpers for A0, A1, and A2).
It operates from 2.7 to 5.5 volts, so it's perfect for 3.3V or 5V systems like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32, etc.
The chip itself has 256 Kbits of storage (that's 32 KB).

Use it for data logging in sensors, storing configuration settings, or as a fast cache in portable gadgets.

The board is compact and comes with the chip already soldered on, so you just need to connect power, ground, SDA, and SCL.

Great for hobbyists, students, or engineers prototyping battery-powered devices where power loss shouldn't mean data loss.

One board per order.
